Bolus Loop Walk on the Skellig Ring: A Hidden Gem in Ireland Discover the Bolus Loop Walk: An Unforgettable Adventure The Bolus Loop Walk is one of Ireland’s most breathtaking
10 minute drive – Here you can book your boat to the enchanting Skellig Michael, Luke Skywalker’s island sanctuary in The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi.
10 minute drive – The small island you can see from your studio has major historical significance, as a hub for the first transatlantic telegraph cable, and for its amazingly preserved 385 million year-old tetrapod footprints.
10 minute drive – This colorful and quaint fishing town is postcard-perfect and a seafood lover’s dream. In the summer the pubs are extra-lively with traditional Irish music sessions.
15 minute drive – This small coastal town was a favorite vacation destination of Hollywood legend Charlie Chaplin. Today it’s best-known for its two top-rated golf courses, Waterville Golf Links and Hogs Head Golf Club.
10-15 minute drive – There’s a stony beach just a five minute walk from your studio, and for long, pristine, sandy strands you’re also spoiled for choice! White Strand, Ballinskelligs, Reenroe and more are only a short drive away.
10-15 minute drive – For the best views, take to the hills! Boolas Loop is my first hill walk recommendation for its incredible views of the Skellig islands. But there are many more walks in the area I’d be happy to tell you about.
